Angry youth burn down police station in Imo over killing of two sibling (video)

Youths of Ihitte/Uboma have burned down the police station in the community following the alleged killing of two siblings by a policeman in the community.

The angry youths stormed the police station and set it on fire after while policemen scamper for safty.

According to locals, a young man named Chinanu Okonkwo and his sister Chinyere Okonkwo from Umuderim Community, Ihitte Uboma, Imo State, were allegedly killed by a Nigerian police officer Tuesday morning, March 9.

Coal City Connect claim the brother and sister were killed at Isiweke, the headquarters of Ihitte Uboma council area of Imo State.

Before burning the police station closest to the location where the siblings were allegedly killed, the angry youths first freed detainees at the police station, then wen ahead to set the station on fire. They also burnt  patrol vehicles.

They then dumped the bodies of the victims at the police station.
